      In circle time we continued our Earth Day topic.  On Monday we learnt we learnt the words: Reduce, reuse, and recycle. And we learnt where our garbage goes after it leaves our homes. This was reviewed again on Wednesday, and we finished our worksheets.  On Thursday we learnt the words: Paper, plastic, metal, and glass. And we learnt how to reduce our garbage by recycling things made of these materials. Finally, on Friday, we learnt how to sort objects by their material type: Paper, plastic, metal, or glass.

   During our Social Studies class, we talked about families.  On Monday, we read the story in our text book and did the worksheet.  On Wednesday, we re-read the story, tested our understanding of it, and circled the site word (at, have, one).  On Thursday we read the story again, and completed some worksheets on the topic of families.
